Bangladeshi youth escapes from hospital, police role questioned

**Nadia:** A Bangladeshi youth in police custody has sparked a sensation in the Bagula area of Hanskhali police station after escaping from the hospital where he was taken for treatment. The incident has raised questions about the police's role and security measures.

According to local sources, police arrested a youth named **Billal Hossain (19)** on charges of illegally entering India from Bangladesh. Later, when he complained of illness, he was taken to Bagula Rural Hospital for treatment.

It is alleged that after being taken to the hospital, the youth escaped by evading the police's attention under the pretext of needing to urinate. Since the incident, police have begun a search for him.

Following this incident, questions have begun to arise regarding the police's security measures. This is because just two days prior, two Bangladeshi citizens had also escaped from police custody in a similar manner. While one of them was later arrested, the other is still reported to be out of police reach.

Before the dust could settle from that incident, another Bangladeshi youth escaping from police custody has created fresh turmoil. Such consecutive incidents have raised concerns in various circles about police surveillance and the management of detainee security.

The police of Hanskhali police station are conducting a search for the fugitive Billal Hossain. An investigation is underway to determine how he managed to escape from the hospital without the police noticing.
