Allegations of Sexual Harassment and Assault Against a Madrasa Teacher by a Fifth-Grade Student, Family Files Written Complaint at Police Station

**Basirhat:** Allegations have been made against a madrasa teacher for attempting to sexually harass, assault, and threaten a fifth-grade girl student. The incident has caused a stir at a private madrasa in the Andulpotar area of the Matia police station in Basirhat. The accused teacher's name is Rajjak.

The victim's family alleges that written complaints have been filed against not only madrasa teacher Rajjak but also two others named Yasin and Golam Akbar at the police station. The family claims that after the incident, there were attempts to cover it up.

According to family sources, the 11-year-old girl, a resident of Rajarhat, has been studying at the private madrasa in Andulpotar for the past two years. It is alleged that on the 8th, the accused teacher Rajjak forcibly entered the girl's room and attempted to sexually harass her. When the student resisted, she was reportedly assaulted. Additionally, the family claims that threats were made regarding severe consequences if the matter was disclosed to anyone.

The victim's family further alleges that there have been previous complaints against the teacher for inappropriate behavior with the student. Subsequently, on the **13th**, the family members of the student filed a written complaint against the accused teacher Rajjak and several others at the Matia police station. The police have initiated an investigation based on the complaint.
