Allegations of transporting calves and cows in a pickup truck, police of Habibpur station also seized the vehicle

**Maldah:** In the early hours of Sunday, police conducted a surprise naka check at the Aihole stand in Habibpur, Maldah, based on a tip-off. During the search, four cows, including a calf, were rescued from a pickup truck. Three individuals have been detained by the Habibpur police on charges of illegally transporting the cows. The pickup truck has also been seized.

According to police sources, a tip-off was received that cows were being transported in a pickup truck. Based on that information, the police began a naka check in the Aihole stand area. During the search, a suspicious pickup truck was stopped and searched.

During the search, a total of four cows, including a calf, were rescued from inside the vehicle. The police are examining the legal documents and other details related to the transportation of the cows. Initially, it was reported that the cows were being taken towards Samsher.

Thanks to the prompt action of the Habibpur police, the attempt to transport the cows was thwarted. The police have begun questioning the three detained individuals. At the same time, an investigation is underway to determine where the cows were brought from and where they were being taken.

The three detainees were presented in the Maldah district court on Sunday by the Habibpur police. An investigation into the incident has begun.
