Missing While Out to Collect Lotus Flowers, Body of Person Recovered from Pond in the Morning

**Jamuria:** The recovery of a man's body from a pond in the morning has created a stir in the Benali village of Jamuria. The deceased has been identified as **Madhu Hemrom**. He is reported to be a resident of Benali Twila Para.

According to local and family sources, **Madhu Hemrom left home on the morning of the 18th to collect lotus flowers**. He did not return home afterward. Family members claimed that they searched various places but could not find any trace of him.

Later, on Sunday morning, locals saw a body floating in a pond called **Ghasuria**, adjacent to the village. As the news spread, it created a stir in the area. The police were informed.

Upon receiving the news, **the police from Sripur Outpost** arrived at the scene. With the help of locals, the body was recovered from the pond. The body has been sent to **Asansol District Hospital** for autopsy.

It is still unclear how Madhu Hemrom died and how he ended up in the pond. The police have started an investigation into the incident. It is believed that more information regarding the actual cause of death may be obtained once the autopsy report is available.
