**Koch Bihar:** Based on secret information, the Dinajpur police conducted naka-checking and recovered a large amount of gold. On Tuesday night, during naka-checking on Sahibganj Road, a person was detained for a search. Five gold biscuits were found hidden under his waist belt.


According to police sources, the estimated market value of the five recovered gold biscuits is approximately **8.9 million Taka**.


The arrested person's name is **Rezaul Haque**. He is a resident of **Chowdhurihat area** under the Sahibganj police station in Dinajpur. He was detained by the police on suspicion during naka-checking on Sahibganj Road on Tuesday night. Upon searching, the hidden gold biscuits were discovered under his waist belt.


After the recovery of the five gold biscuits, the police arrested Rezaul Haque. The actual weight, purity, and value of the recovered gold are being verified.


However, it is still unclear where this large amount of gold was being brought from and where it was being taken. The police have started an investigation to see if the arrested person has any connection with gold smuggling.


Investigators are trying to find out if anyone else is involved in this incident or if there is a larger smuggling ring behind it. They are also examining whether there is any connection to gold smuggling through border routes.
